Petersen: When I played at Bayern I was like a goldfish in a shark tank and I am still a Bayern fan

Former Germany international Petersen said in an interview with Sportbuzzer that he was like a goldfish in a shark tank when he played at Bayern。

Petersen said: "My wife is always annoyed that I am still a Bayern fan。Apart from that, I had the least contact with Bayern of any club I've been involved with and I was nothing more than a goldfish in a shark tank。In the summer of 2011, Petersen moved to Bayern, wearing the number 9 shirt。In the summer of 2012, Petersen joined Bremen on loan。However, after playing for one season, Petersen returned to Bayern and in 2015 he moved to Freiburg。

At the end of March 2023, Peterson announced his retirement at the end of the season。
